Bob Murphy has had extensive involvement in all components of general practice as a Chartered Accountant in the South East Queensland area since 1966. This has provided him with particular skills and a wide knowledge of many and varied industries and businesses.
During Bob’s time as a Registered and Official Liquidator, he has been appointed to over 400 companies and has gained extensive background to call on.
For the last 19 years Bob has specialised in business recovery and insolvency. His experience includes quite a number of complex investigations and court actions undertaken with successful recoveries achieved for the benefit of the creditors in many corporate administrations. His major successes have been in circumstances where initially recoveries may have appeared unlikely.
Prior to establishing the insolvency specialist firm of R.E. Murphy & Co, Bob had 8 years of personal involvement as a director/operator of a variety of businesses including hospitality, entertainment and property development.
